Several towns in the Helsinki Region have business development units which are in charge of municipal business policy, marketing, development plans, business advisory services and business placement services. The aim of these services is to enable businesses to get the answers to all their questions quickly, and all under the same roof. Placement services operate on a front office principle.
Business consultation is provided on available office space, products, subcontractors and marketing, along with general advice for companies. New entrepreneurs are given guidance at special centers for new enterprises, where services are free of charge and fully confidential.
