Helsinki Business and Science Park Ltd (HBSP) is located in both the Viikki and Meilahti campuses in the city of Helsinki. HBSP provides development, production and marketing support services for innovations that originate from academic research, but under a business environment. One aim is to create new startup companies through the HBSP incubator system. Existing companies, and research institutes derive a mutual benefit through HBSP. The main fields of operation are biotechnology, diagnostics and medical technologies, food technology and environmental technology.
Swing Life Science Center is a cluster of expertise in the life sciences in the Helsinki Region. Swing Life Science Center is located in Espoo, near the Otaniemi campus area, and provides a dynamic business community for companies involved in state-of-the-art biotechnology, process design and technology, materials and information technology, welfare services.
Technopolis is one of the biggest technology center operators in Europe. The Technopolis concept includes modern facilities, comprehensive business services, and a wide selection of corporate development services and programs, as well as consultation. One of the Technopolis centers is located in the Otaniemi campus area. The Vantaa Welfare Center, a business service environment devoted to wellness technology, is also implemented by Technopolis. Its purpose is to attract customers, wellness companies, research institutes and other parties.
Technopolis Ventures, part of the Technopolis group, is the largest business incubator in Finland, with upwards of 200 hi-tech and knowledge-based companies in their program.
